Happy New Year, welcome to 2012, the government can now arrest and detain you without a trial, indefinitely, it they suspect you of "terrorist activity." We just received a false decline in unemployment, not because more people went to back to work, but because they just gave up looking for jobs. Amidst feelings of powerlessness and political invisibility, the Occupy Movement rose, first in Zuccotti Park, in New York City's Financial District. Soon the Occupy banner was being flown all across the US, Europe and the UK. I met up with Shane Patrick, one of Occupy's Public Relations operatives, to get the lowdown on the whole trip.
