Fred Pessaro stopped by to chat about Brooklyn Vegan, promoting shows, secret identities, and our love of old soundtracks. We spoke about two films, "To Live and Die in L.A." and "Christiane F"; I said that both films are basically about drugs, but I stand corrected, "To Live and Die in L.A." is actually about counterfeiting!! Enjoy the podcast, and if you're so inclined, leave a comment on iTunes.

Happy New Year, welcome to 2012, the government can now arrest and detain you without a trial, indefinitely, it they suspect you of "terrorist activity." We just received a false decline in unemployment, not because more people went to back to work, but because they just gave up looking for jobs. Amidst feelings of powerlessness and political invisibility, the Occupy Movement rose, first in Zuccotti Park, in New York City's Financial District. Soon the Occupy banner was being flown all across the US, Europe and the UK. I met up with Shane Patrick, one of Occupy's Public Relations operatives, to get the lowdown on the whole trip. You can follow Shane at @OccupyShane.

Halloween is days awau so check out Part 2 of our Halloween Week Podcast with Me and Mike Scondotto as we discuss West Memphis 3, Last House on a Dead End Street, hipster, the Youth of Today Reunion and movie suggestions for the upcoming Halloween Weekend. I must apologize for the trail-off; we actually ran out of card space on my trusty Zoom recorder. Nonetheless, it was a pretty cool conversation for a Monday night.

Halloween is coming up, so we dropped in to visit David and Cat at Enchantments, an occult supply shop in the East Village. We had a nice evening, sitting in the courtyard, discussing Wicca, Spirituality, Occult and human consciousness, unfortunately we sacrificed a little sound quality for atmosphere, so please keep in mind that we recorded outside in New York City. Join me, Jaclyn, David and Cat in our conversation

Tombs just wrapped up a European Tour with our buddies The Secret. I had an opportunity to sit down and talk with Michael Bertoldini and Marco Coslovich of The Secret, along with Carson James from Tombs. We opened the talk with addressing the false accusations of fascism thrown at The Secret by a German promoter; we just rolled after that. I apologize in advance for the sound quality.
