This is the first episode of the TOPIC series that Randy Larsen and I are going to do from time to time. It started out with our playlist episodes and evolved into this more formatted type of setup.
Both of us were heavily influenced by the 90's record label Amphetamine Reptile. Bands like Helmet and Today is the Day Started out there and the vibe established my the label gave rise to some killer bands that pretty much existed in obscurity. Before we get started, Andrew and I would like to give our condolences to the victims of the shooting in Las Vegas. We live in troubled times and our hearts go out to those effected by such a pointless display of violence.
